It's not easy writing a weekly blog post about your art practice. I've mentioned this before, but it seems a little narcissistic to constantly write about what one is doing all the time. As a quick re-cap, most painters do “studies” of their subjects before they tackle the final painting. This allows them to work out things like colour and composition before they tackle the final version.
